I came to Dr. Fatima Khan because I had allergy issues that linger even after being medicated. I like doctors who like puzzles. This is what led me to Allergy Asthma and Immunology and Dr Khan. I answered extensive questions and was allergy tested again.She is very thorough! I was then referred to hematology for more in depth testing. We got some answers, but also some questions. There's still a work in progress,but Dr.Khan is on it! Her bedside manner is super, she's very approachable and friendly. The office staff is nice and welcoming! I'm beyond grateful for her expertise helping me move forward in my health journey. Her bedside manner is awesome,

Lori is a wonderful provider. She carefully reviewed my records and explained possible adjustments to my current treatment. I drive over an hour to come to this practice and it is well worth the drive. Dr Hatab’s entire team is top notch.

Very few things were actually tested for before I was basically given up on. I was looked at and talked down to like I was an ignorant person who was coming to the allergist’s office seeking attention. In reality, I dislike having to go to medical offices, and only went here out of fear of having another anaphylactic reaction without knowing what is causing them. While I appreciate now at least having an EpiPen if it happens again, I don’t know any more about my allergies than I did three months and three appointments ago. Unfortunately, I will have to find another allergist to go to after having such a negative experience.

Dr. Khan is amazing! I went to get my allergy shot and had a reaction. Dr. Khan and some of the staff there stepped right in and helped me administering epiphenephrine and checking on me every 15 minutes. She was so helpful. I love AAIA. The staff and doctors are professional, caring and thorough.

Dr Hatab is a very caring doctor. He asked very good questions and listened intently to the answers and took copious notes. He provided a sample for me to try for the next two weeks until I have another appointment with him to discuss how my inhaler worked. Then he would like to do further testing. It was very refreshing to find a doctor who took all the time it needed to hear why I had an appointment with him in the first place. I can highly recommend him

Although Dr. Khan is amazing. The front office staff is very disrespectful. The appointments line is never answered and the calls never get returned despite leaving a voicemail. Front desk staff personnel should learn how to be more professional and keep their conversations regarding their dislike of any patient to a minimum or when not on stage. They should also be cognizant that regardless of using Spanish to speak about their dislikes, that does not mean the patient they are referring to does not understand what they’re saying or does not speak the same language.

Dr. Kahn is excellent; however, the front desk staff is terrible. I swiped my allergy shot card and sat for 20 minutes while the complained about being short staffed, the manager, what the manager does all day, they don't get paid to do her job, etc., all loud enough for me to hear every word. Because I was not checked in during that 20 minutes the nurse had no idea there were issues with my shots and Dr. Kahn left for the day. This is not the first time that inappropriate front desk conversations have been held loud enough for patients to hear. I was irritated after waiting for the doctor to call the nurse back and told them I wanted my records, as I was finding a new practice. I was told I would have to pay for them. That is clearly not going to happen.

I had the late Dr Jose Dominguez after I retired from the US Army in 2013 and he understood my unique toxic exposures condition that many combat Veterans incurred in our Middle East combat deployments. Excellent experience at this medical practice. I was seen promptly and all procedures were explained to me. Dr Hatab was engaging and friendly. He asked good questions. He explained in detail how aspirin desensitization worked and that I would be required to take aspirin everyday for the rest of my life. We both agreed that it would not be of real benefit and given my age and conditions could be contraindicated. Really appreciated his knowledge and insight and we further discussed alternatives to address my issues.

Dr H is an experienced and caring specialist who made time to see this Tampa want-ta-be, from VA. Had long time wait to get meds at local drugstore, but Dr H took care of the electronic communication problem (drugstore was backed up). He is thorough in his diagnosing, and, even on a busy appointment day, listened and asked his concerns without rushing me through. Feeling better after 24 hours!

I usually feel like I am being taken care of and that my health is important. I am not crazy about having to have shots in my stomach due to my low immune system but, if that is necessary for my health, I understand the concern.

I finally was referred to Dr. Sonya and my child finally has a realistic care plan, and control over her allergies and asthma!! The staff is so friendly and understanding. Dr. Imanirad helped me when 3 other doctors said they didn't know what I had or how to treat it. She is so caring and thoughtful, She said in the beginning she wasn't sure of my problem, but was going to help me. For months I was broke out and itching from head to toe. She is an Amazing, kind, and concerned Doctor. I have had major issues for 20 plus years. Multiple sclerosis, amputation, kidney cancer, heart attack. This was the worst. She not only is helping me, I feel like she is my friend. I can't say Thank You to her enough. She is a Blessing to Me.

I definitely recommend Dr Hatab and the South Tampa office. I was always sick before seeing Dr Hatab. He takes time with each patient and listens to you. I get allergy shots there and from the front desk to the shot clinic, everyone is always very knowledgeable and seems happy to be there. My shots are working and I can now go through pollen season without being sick.

Dr Khan has been good with me. We’ve been waiting to find out from my PCP which pneumonia vaccine I had in 2020 so I could get the opposite one due to testing showing low response. I was told today which one it was thought I could have already gotten the vaccine if the office had called me when my PCP was notified. 2 RXs were called in to Publix while I was in office, the methyl prednisone 4mg. dspk has been filled but my preventive azithromycin is not in the Publix queue. So now I need to call dr and Publix both to find where my RX is. It should be on automatic refills if the office/dr put refills on it.

My experience with Dr Hatab is always top notch. However this was the first time I experienced a negative vibe from the receptionist. I feel I was treated poorly for showing up at 12:57 for a 1:15 apt. There were 3 of us in the waiting room that were advised that we would not be called back until after 1:00. No one asked her to go back earlier so I felt that statement was very inappropriate and actually rude. When I questioned her on it and asked her why she said that when I checked in at 1 she told me I actually signed in at 12:57. The office door was unlocked so i honestly do not know what the problem was.I have never been treated like that by anyone else since i have been going to that office and i hope it never happens again.

Dr Khan and everyone that works at the South Tampa office are so nice and accommodating. Dr Khan herself is amazing! She has the best bedside manners anyone could ask for from a doctor.
